My client is a well-established flooring and wall cladding contractor in the South West with branches in Plymouth and Exeter looking for an experienced Estimator/Contracts Manager. You will be based in the Plymouth branch and will be responsible for managing the existing team and both branches. You will be expected to contribute to our continued growth by building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients. Essential to this role is excellent customer service and similar experience. Duties and responsibilities to include but not be limited to: - Managing existing workforce Running and managing 2 branches Oversee multiple projects Submit tender bids to required deadlines Allocate required labour Negotiate with clients whilst ensuring projects are profitable and commercially viable Carry out site meetings and surveys Monitor and record variations and gain client instructions Carry out billing and agree final accounts Work to our quality plan ensuring quality management of the project from start through to completion The successful candidate will be required to:- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines Demonstrate sound knowledge of products and sub floors Have excellent IT skills Have excellent communication skills, be commercially astute and work independently as well as part of a team The ideal candidate will hold a current CSCS card along with a proven record of winning and managing flooring projects.
