Sous Chef - 2 AA Rosette standard Hotel restaurant

Passionate Sous chef required for a luxury boutique hotel promoting stunning views across the South Cornwall coast and the picturesque St Michaels Mount. The hotel has recently undergone a mass renovation and will look to open shortly. The featured restaurant is headed by an award winning chef who is driven to creating the best dishes with using the best local ingredients available to him. The food produced by the hotel is at a 2 Rosette standard and has been noted for its exemplary cuisine. As a sous chef of this fantastic establishment you will have: * Over two years' experience of working as Junior Sous/Sous chef cooking to a 2 rosette standard * Experience of working with fresh seasonal local produce * Experience of running a kitchen in the head chef's absence * Experience of training lower level chefs and imparting your own knowledge helping them develop * Good longevity throughout your CV On average you will be working between 40 - 50 hours across 5 days. These will likely consist of a mixture of straight and split shifts. In return you will receive a generous annual salary between £23,000 - £26,000 and a share of tips. On offer is also FREE staff accommodation located 10minutes from the hotel. This is looking to be a full time, permanent position to start immediately.
