Casual General Advocate (Community Safety) - Ad- hoc arrangement subject to Service needs
Location: Plympton, West Devon area
Salary: Grade 3 hourly rate £9.72
Contract: Working hours as and when available at any time of the week (please note that if you wish to do schools education, you will need to be available for work during school hours).
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and organised individuals who are good team players to deliver community safety advice and activities to their local community. The aim of the Advocate programme is to reduce deaths and injuries caused by Fire, Road Traffic Collisions and other emergencies within Devon and Somerset and activities will take place throughout the two counties.
Applicants should have good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; good links with their local communities as well as an enthusiasm to make our communities safer.
You will be employed under a casual (adhoc) agreement and due to the nature of the programme it is not possible to forecast the amount of work.

The Selection Process will take place on Thursday, 20 and Friday, 21 July.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check is required for this post.
