Chef De Partie required- Immediate Start - £8 - £8.50ph

We are looking for a talented and aspiring Chef De Partie to join one of our Truro based clients. Our client owns a small contempory bar and kitchen located in the heart of Truro itself. Our client's outside kitchen offers a menu laden with fresh seasonal dishes and some classic pub dishes using all fresh and local produce. The role our client is offering is for a seasonal Chef De Partie who is looking for development of their skills and knowledge within in a contemporary, busy kitchen.

This Role is seasonal, however for the right candidate could go perm. This is the first year our client is looking to open throughout the winter months.

As a Chef De Partie you will be:

  • Running your own section
  • Cooking to a consistently high level
  • Helping and supporting all members of the kitchen team
  • Being organised
  • Staying calm under pressure
  • Following Food Safety and Health & Safety guidelines and procedures

The hours offered are 30hours a week working between 10am - 9pm on either 10am - 4pm or 5pm - 9pm shifts, working 5 days of 7 with Sundays off and only working occassional Saturdays. Should you be looking for more hours these can be provided with extra shifts being picked up in the bar over the evenings.

This is an excellent position for someone who is studying part time or looking for a seasonal role wanting to complete a ski season. The role should it be seasonal will look to end on 31st October 2017.
