Management Post

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Priory Federation of Academies Trust, with a vacancy in the post of Chief Financial Officer.

As Chief Financial Officer, you will play a major role in the strategic direction and expansion of our Trust. A high-quality finance professional, your first-class accounting skills, commercial awareness, ability to understand publicly funded organisations and relevant funding streams will be central in our drive to provide students with life-changing opportunities.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive and take responsibility for the finance functions of the four academies within our Trust. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial control and planning. In addition to our academies, we manage boarding and day care provision, run an educational residential centre and have specific responsibilities for Lincolnshire Teaching School Alliance and School-Centred Initial Teacher Training.

The successful candidate will provide clear direction and leadership to an established finance team, prepare statutory accounts, liaise with appropriate government agencies, work closely with our external and internal audit functions and report to the Trustees.

We are also developing our cloud-based systems and are looking for a colleague to contribute to our progress in that area.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: Noon Friday 12 May 2017.

Interviews will take place in the week commencing Monday 15 May 2017.

Application forms can be found on our website at our website under the Vacancies tab by clicking apply.
