Senior DevOps Infrastructure Lead

The Senior DevOps and Infrastructure Lead will understand and interpret global technical development requirements and ensure that infrastructure supports and optimises delivery of the group technical strategy. This role is based in the Cornwall site but will work collaboratively across all business units to ensure seamless delivery of technical strategy and infrastructure at an international level. This will include leading the provision of automated software deployments and configuration changes to local, regional and international environments and managing, developing and motivating teams across the regulated product infrastructure. This company also has offices across the world including Germany, Dubai and Boston delivering a range of health technology software and devices and some travel between these locations will be required. You must have 3-5 years' experience working in a DevOps and Infrastructure role within a mission critical environment as well as hands-on experience in cloud environments. Experience in fully scalable web applications and services is essential. Key responsibilities: - Lead the provision of automated software deployments and configuration changes to local, regional and international environments. - Manage, develop and motivate the Infrastructure Team across the regulated product infrastructure. - Manage the Out of Hours on call function to ensure the SLA(s) of the infrastructure are delivered. - Overall responsibility for the management, maintenance and control of their product environments (development, QA & production) to ensure business critical availability, reliability and redundancy for their medical products and services. - Design and architect regulated infrastructure improvements to continue to support their medical products and services. - Manage the relationship with third party suppliers for product infrastructure. - Take full responsibility of documentation, policies and procedures for the infrastructure and change management. - Ensure the infrastructure meets all the security, standards and regulatory requirements necessary to deliver their medical products and solutions. - Responsible for the reporting and incident management of product environments. - Departmental financial control and forecasting.
