Interim part time Finance Manager - Truro - GBP 32-35,000 Pro Rata

Trial Balance Consulting have been assigned by a recognised educational service provider who seek to recruit an experienced Finance Manager / Bursar. The role will be offered on a part time basis of between 2-4 days per week as per mutual requirements. This is an interim role and envisaged to carry a duration of between 4-12 weeks.

Reporting directly to the Head and the board of Governors the main purpose of the role will be take leadership of all financial matters.

Duties of the Finance Manager will include:
- Supervising a small finance team
- Preparation of financial information for annual budget
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and cash flow analysis
- Credit control
- Maintaining accounting records and ensuring that financial controls and procedures are adhered to

The successful candidate will:
- Be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or qualified to a suitable level through vocational experience
- Ideally, though not essentially have experience gained within an educational institution
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have excellent IT skills
- Be capable of managing their own workload effectively and that of their team
