Care Supervisor: An ambitious, energetic, and capable Care Administrator, Care Coordinator, Care Manager or Care Supervisor is required on a full time basis to join a highly-regarded care-in-the-home company in their Plymouth office. Join a local family run homecare company that is working in the community delivering the highest standards of care to customers in their own homes across South Devon. The positive ethos of the service is identified by the CQC with an OUTSTANDING rating in Caring. The CQC said "there is a positive culture in the service. The management team provided strong leadership and lead by example. Staff are motivated and inspired to develop and provide quality care".

The Care Supervisor will have a varied and rewarding role helping the company grow and succeed, and is responsible for supporting the happiness and welfare of the customers. The ideal candidate needs strong administrative, communication, multitasking and PC skills to succeed and progress further in this fast-paced environment.

Duties and responsibilities
*Meeting and signing up new customers requiring domiciliary care
*Writing detailed support plans which reflect the needs and choices of the customer
*Reviewing and monitoring new and current customers
*Compliance with Bluebird Care policies and procedures
*Liaising and problem solving with other health and social care professionals to ensure customers are receiving the correct support at home
*On-call duties 1 week in 4
*Deliver care to customers as and when needed
*Efficiently planning their own time in the office and out in the community
*Creatively developing the role and the wider business
*Working with the rest of the team to provide a happy workplace for care staff
*Working with the rest of the team to keep customers happy and safe in their own homes

Skills and Experience
*Experienced in office procedures and computer literate
*Have proven experience of managing and directing people in a fast-moving environment
*Be a reliable, dynamic, ambitious, organised, hardworking self-starter with a great sense of humour
*Experience of Domiciliary Care desirable
*Working toward QCF 3 Health and Social Care desirable
*A full driving licence and access to a car
