Are you an experienced Administrator looking for an exciting new challenge in Davidstow, Cornwall? If the answer is YES, Dairy Crest Davidstow are recruiting and we want to hear from you.

Dairy Crest is in a very exciting period of growth focussing on investment and development of our existing strong brands including Cathedral City, Country Life and Clover and the manufacturing of Demineralised Whey and Galacto-oligosaccharide (GOS).

Our Davidstow site has recently completed a major refurbishment and expansion programme. The site produces over 50k tonnes of cheddar, 24k tonnes of Demineralised Whey Powder and circa 13k tonnes of Galacto-Oligosaccharide, employing circa 165 employees on a 365/24 basis.

Due to continued success and growth we are now looking to recruit an experienced Technical Samples Administrator to join our team in Davidstow. This role is a fixed term contract for 5 months, Monday to Friday (8am to 4:30pm)

What will I be responsible for?

Reporting in to the Technical Services and Systems Manager, the successful Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the timely and smooth operation of the collection and onward processing of technical samples to an agreed schedule during the commissioning period. You will also be responsible for:

- To ensure data processing of all associated information is entered and recorded as appropriate and to an agreed time frame.
- To complete any additional administration requests from the Technical Team as required, providing a professional and confidential administration resource
- To raise any non-compliance to agreed schedule to Line Management as appropriate
- Record and track any information as required. to ensure customers for whey receive the required samples for their testing regimes. This will lead to confidence in product quality and positively impact customer relationships and sales.

Who are we looking for?

As our ideal Administrator, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience in an administration role. You will also require:

- Ability to collect required samples from agreed sample points on plant.
- Ability to work on own initiative with confidentiality and professionalism as required.
- Excellent coordination and administration ensuring all data entry, correspondence and information is produced to a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective time manager with ability to work using own initiative and adapt to change.
- Possesses resilience, tenacity and perseverance to keep going and remain positive.
- Ability to plan and prioritise

In return for your hard work as our Administrator, you will be entitled to a competitive basic salary of GBP16,000 pro rata.
