We have an urgent Business Process Analyst contract opportunity in Cornwall need proven Business Process Analyst experience ins Finance Services environment with strong stakeholder management / liaison background, this is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our expanding client in in Cornwall. This is a contract role to start ASAP.

Title: Business Process Analyst.
Location: Cornwall commutable from Exeter, Plymouth, Launceston, Callington, Tavistock, Okehampton, Newquay, Truro, Bodmin
Duration: 3 month contract.
Start: ASAP.
Day Rate: c GBP300 per day (GBP275 GBP340 per day neg on experience).


Must have proven experience of Process Re Engineering and Optimisation, as a Business Process Analyst. Stakeholder liaison.
Requirement gathering.
Ability to produce high quality project items (eg. current & future state process documentation, requirements schedule & catalogue, test plans).
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, & subject matter experts. Financial Services Background is preferable in either banking, insurance, money management and used to highly regulated environments.

DUTIES: Business Process Analysis & project support enabling the successful delivery of change projects within the company, identification of stakeholder needs & production of clear & accurate requirement specifications, providing regular updates on progress.

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down highlevel information into details, abstract up from lowlevel information to a general understanding, & distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

Supporting the development and design of business process & technical solutions to meet those requirements.

Coordinate requirements walkthrough & signoffs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases & process models accurately portray specific business needs. Fully identify issues & constraints within specified business areas & processes. Propose & implement robust solutions, of sufficient quality & ensuring they meet business objectives. Contribute to project plans.

Act as Project Manager for smaller projects as required. Training staff in how to use new systems. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Work independently with users to define concepts & under direction of the Finance Manager.

Drive & challenge the business teams on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.

Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs & translate them into application & operational requirements.

Collaborate with developers & subject matter experts to establish the technical vision & analyse tradeoffs between usability & performance needs. Be the liaison between the business, technology partners, support team & senior management.
