Communications Advisor - Specsavers Recruitment Services

If you have the passion, we'll give you the purpose.

We are seeking an entry level or trainee Communications Advisor to join our team: At Specsavers Recruitment Services, our mission is to connect talented professionals with our growing number of UK stores - and we are looking for a driven individual to play a key role in building that connection through the creation and delivery of effective on and offline communications and social media content.

Our recruitment operation has grown significantly over the last 3 years, and the exciting position of Communications Advisor will support the foundations of our teams' success. Your main focus will be creating content, both written and sometimes digital. You'll work closely with the Communications Manager to deliver and monitor our recruitment communications and social media strategy, which will include targeted email campaigns, online content creation and more. A part of this will be understanding our own business and competitors, which will involve work with statistical data and analytics.

Who are we? (just in case you didn't know)

Specsavers is a global brand, and we're the in-house recruitment team tasked with driving the continued growth and success of our UK business by attracting new talent into the organisation. We're a dedicated group of recruitment consultants and support staff who enjoy our fast-paced, dynamic environment. We enjoy our work, but mostly we love making an impact - which for us is combining great service with results to match.

Can you picture yourself working with us?

As our ideal Communications Advisor, you will need to be articulate, self-motivated and have a natural passion for writing and content creation to truly flourish. Some form of writing and social media experience is essential for this role, either in a formal capacity or through personal projects. You should possess a strong knowledge of social media (namely LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter), have a keen eye for detail, be precise with data and have the ability to write appealing content for varying and specific target markets. An aptitude towards Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign) would be advantageous. Does this sound like you?

Great - so what's in it for you?

In return for your hard work as our Communications Advisor, you will have the chance to develop your career in a dynamic, forward thinking company with a truly global brand. We'll help you turn your passion into purpose and support your growth as a skilled professional. You will receive regular performance feedback and development to ensure you are consistently reaching your potential and achieving what you want with us - in return, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a real impact.

If this feels like your next step, we'd love to hear from you. No terminology in the advert you have seen is intended to discriminate on the grounds of age, gender, race, colour, religion, disability or sexual orientation, and we will gladly accept applications from all sections of the community.
