Salary: £22,494 to £26,052 per annum

Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The key purpose of this role is to support the effective planning and operation of the University’s systems for the collection, storage, processing, reporting and analysis of all data relating to the student assessment journey. The Student Programmes & Achievement Team (SPA) sits within Student Administration and manages the central source of information for the Institution regarding all formal student assessment elements including scheduling and publishing of dates, submission methods and recording of marks. This includes the day to day management and co-ordination of submissions for each Academic Department/School through to progression, awards and graduation, and within this remit provide the highest quality professional services to students, staff, and external stakeholders.

This post requires applicants to be educated to Higher Education level or equivalent with a sound knowledge of or experience in an HE environment or related field. You will be solution orientated, an effective communicator and committed to providing a high level of customer service. Proven written communication skills are essential along with strong attention to detail, particularly in relation to the accuracy of written reports, records and formal meeting minutes. Experience of Project Management and familiarity with student information management systems such as SITS would be desirable.
