20 hours per week worked on a flexible basis. Salary: £20,624 - £22,494 pro rata, plus shift premium as appropriate.

A part-time Porter is required to join the team in the Porters’ Lodge providing an efficient and friendly service to Fellows, Students, Staff and members of the public.
Areas of responsibility encompass reception duty, operation of security and surveillance systems, effective response in emergencies and providing general support, guidance and assistance. Experience of any service-based industry, where a strong customer focus and high degree of professionalism are required is essential, as are a firm but friendly nature, and a flexible, team-working approach.
The Lodge provides a service 24 hours a day, 7 days and nights per week, 365 days a year and work is arranged on a four week rolling shift pattern comprising day and night shifts and weekend working. The hours for this post will be worked across 5 days out of 7 and encompass some weekend and occasional night working.
